REGGE POLES AND HIGH ENERGY SCATTERING (in Italian)

Journal Article · · Nuovo Cimento (Italy) Divided into Nuovo Cimento A and Nuovo Cimento B
OSTI ID:4032457
Regge proposed to study the analytical properties of the scattering amplitude as a function of the angular momentum considered as a complex variable. The Regge method is briefly considered. Some physical implications of the Regge poles, when it is conceded that the results obtained representing the interaction with a potential can be applied to the relativistic scattering of particles, are discussed.
