A scintillation coincidence spectrometer was used for measuring x and gamma emissions and gamma - gamma coincidence in /sup 104/*Rh. A porus 22-mg rhodium specimen pressed into an aluminum foil was irradiated with approximates 10/sup 8/ n/cm/sup 2/. sec for 2 to 10 min. Measurements on the 4.4-min /sup 104/ Rh activity revealed a 97.1-kev gamma -quantum, indicating a transition at 31.9 kev. The obtained data allowed a quantitative determination of the ratio between conversion coefficients and gamma -transition intensities. The coincidence spectra showed, in addition to 20 and 51 kev intensities, some maxima at 77 and 97 kev; indicating that the 31.9-kev K shell transition is relatively large. The measurements resulted in the development of 10 independent equations, with the internal conversion coefficients ( alpha /sub k/, 1 + alpha , /sup alpha /k/1 + alpha ) acting as unknown functions, for gamma transitions and intensities.
