INVESTIGATION OF ELASTIC AND INELASTIC SCATTERING OF PROTONS FROM THE NUCLEUS Ne$sup 2$$sup 2$

Excitation functions for the reactions Ne(p,p)/sup 22/Ne and /sup 22/ Ne(p,p' gamma )/sup 22/Ne, Q = -1.28 Mev in the energy range of protons 1.5-2.5 Mev were measured. For strong resonances the angular distributions of inelastically scattered protons and the corresponding gamma rays were measured. Spins, parities, resonance strengihs, and reduced widths were determined for six levels of the compound nucleus /sup 23/Na. (auth)
