RESONANCE ENERGIES FOR PROTON CAPTURE IN Ne$sup 21$ AND Ne$sup 2$$sup 2$

The gamma ray excitation functions for the Ne/sup 22/(p, gamma )Na/sup 23/ and the Ne/sup 21/(p, gamma )Na/sup 22/ reactions were studied in the energy range 600 to 1400 kev proton bombarding energy, using electromagnetically separated isotopes. In the Ne/sup 22/(p, gamma )Na/sup 23/ reaction 22 resonances were found, 13 of which are new. In the Ne/sup 21/(p, gamma )Na/sup 22/ reaction one new resonance was found and some previously reported resonances seemed to originate from contaminants. (auth)
