The spectrum of FG SGE in 1975.

The spectrum of FG Sge in 1975 is compared with spectra of Ia and Ib supergiants of class F5 to G5. The cooling trend described by Langer, Kraft, and Anderson as taking place up to 1972 has continued, but possibly at a faster rate since 1972. The enhancement of rare-earth abundances also is confirmed. Molecular bands are not observed.
