Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4024675
The results of a series of start-up experiments per formed at the Lockneed CER during the pericd June 4 to. 18, 1958 are presented. The purpose of the experiments was to demonstrate the satisfactory nuclear characteristics of this reactor. The following reactor characteristics were measureds critical loading, operationa loading, temperature coefficient, average void coefficient, regulating rod strength, and control system strength. These results were in good agreement with the design characteristics predicted before start-up. (anth)
