A SHORT NOTE ON THE RELATIVE ABUNDANCE OF RUBIDIUM AND STRONTIUM IN VITRAIN ASHES FROM COALS IN NOVA SCOTIA

Journal Article · · Geochim. et Cosmochim. Acta

The relative abundance of rubidium and strontium in vitrain ashes from coals in Nova Scotia is determined. Two vitrains are analyzed for Rb and Sr by isotope dllution. Six vitrains are anulyzed for Rb by spectrochemical analysis. Of the two methods the isotope dilution method is the more reliable. (N.W.R.)
