Two scalers, Model CT3 and Model CT5, are described. Model CT3 has seven decades; the first one is transistorized and the others have cold cathode counting tubes (dekatron). The over-all resolving time is of 1 mu sec and all the counts stored can be printed on an adding machine. Model CT5 has two dekatrons and a four digit mechanical register; its resolving time is 25 mu sec. (auth)
