THE DECONTAMINATION OF RADIOACTIVE WATER WITH CHEMICAL PRECIPITATION (in German)

Thesis/Dissertation ·
OSTI ID:4016895
Various precipitation methods, which can be used for effective decontamination of large quantities of weakly contaminated water, are studied. Decontamination factors for /sup 114/Ce, /sup 91/Y, /sup 89/Sr, /sup 90/Sr, /sup 137/Cs, and /sup 60/Co were determined. In some cases the adsorption isotherms are given. Results indicate that adsorption is linear up to activities of 90 mu C/l. (Gmelin Inst.)
