DETECTION OF PULSE PILE-UPS WITH TUNNEL DIODES

A pile-up rejector using tunnel diodes is described. It is simple and reliable, and is capable of 30 nsec resolving time on pulses from plastic scintillators. Some general features of pile-up rejector circuits are discussed. (auth)
