Exact magnetic ringing solutions in superfluid $sup 3$He-B

In the field-free regime (i.e., simple turn-off experiment) the nonlinear equation describing the spin dynamics (i.e., the Leggett equation) for the Balian-Werthamer state is solved by quadrature. The ringing frequencies of the magnetization are determined for all values of $delta$$omega$$sub 0$$/$$Omega$/ subB/ for a variety of spin configurations, where $delta$$omega$$sub 0$ is the Larmor frequency associated with the turn-off field and $Omega$/subB/ is the Leggett longitudinal resonance frequency.
