Variation in measurements using Ilford G-5 emulsions were found, and an attempt was made to eliminate them. Subjective singularities and the effect of the incident angle on precise measurements were examined. It is shown that to achieve accurate measurements, ionlzation losses must be determined for tracks with incidert angles up to 10 deg . (tr-auth)
