REGGE TRAJECTORIES IN THE BETHESALPETER EQUATIONS (in Russian)

An equation is derived that defines Regge trajectories for the sum of diagrams of the ladder type (particles of mass m exchange with particles of mass mu ). The behavior of the trajectory l(s) as a function of s and of the coupling constant g/sup 2/ is investigated. An expansion of l(s) in a series in g/sup 2/ is obtained and it is shown that the sum of the senior terms in the asymptotic ladder diagrams yields the first two terms in the expansion, i.e. l(s) =l/sub 0/ + g/sup 2/l/sub 1/(s). The cause of this situation is ascertained. The equation for l(s) is solved exactly in the particular case for s = 0. The analytical form of l(g/sup 2/) is presented for mu = 0, and the results of numerical calculations for a number of values of mu /sup 2//m/sup 2/ are given. (auth)
