ON THE DETERMINATION OF THE IMAGINARY POTENTIAL IN THE OPTICAL MODEL (in French)

Journal Article · · Nuclear Phys.
The Bjorklund-Fernbach optical Model is applied to the determination of the imaginary potential W fitting the Pr/sup 1//sup 4//sup 1/(p,n) reaction cross section at energies less than 11.1 Mev. The reaction cross section is found to be more sen sitive to the shape of the imaginary potential than to its depth. (auth)
