MEASUREMENT OF THE CIRCULAR POLARIZATION OF THE $gamma$-QUANTA EMITTED IN $beta$-DECAY OF Nd$sup 14$$sup 7$ (in Russian)

The asymmetry coefficient for beta gamma -correlation was determined by measuring the degree of circular polarization of 530-kev gamma -quanta accompanying the beta -decay of Nd/sup 1//sup 4//sup 7/ and found to be A = - 0.093 plus or minus 0.15. This value is consistent with a spin of j = 7/2 of the investigated excited state of Pm/sup 1//sup 4//sup 7/ for a multipole mixture corresponding to a radiation transition E2 + M1 possessing an amplitude ratio E2/ M1 equal to +1.75 plus or minus 0.15.
