ON THE NUCLEAR QUADRUPOLE MOMENT OF $sup 87$Rb (in German)

With the help of the double resonance technique, the hyperfine structure of the /sup 8/Rb isotope in the excited 5 /sup 2/P/sub 3/2/ level of the rubidium spectra is given. The nuclear quadrupole moment was calculated to be 0.144 x 10/ sup -24/ cm/sup 2/ without regard to the Sternheimer correction and 0.120 x 10/ sup -24/ cm/sup 2/ considering the correction. (M.C.G.)
