ANGULAR CORRELATION OF FRAGMENTS AND LIGHT PARTICLES IN NUCLEAR FISSION (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Izv. Akad. Nauk Uz. SSR, Ser. Fiz.-Mat. Nauk.
OSTI ID:4004335
Nuclear emulsions were irradiated with 660-Mev protons and used in an investigation of proton and alpha angular correlations with fission fragments with Z > 4 to 9. Experimental angular distributions between the fragments and light particles were in good agreement with calculated values, showing an absence of an inherent angular correlation between fragments and light particles and indicating that in the process studied, low-excitation (Z = 4 to 9) fragments are emitted in Ag and Br spallation.
