THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN IRRADIATION GROWTH AND OTHER PROPERTIES OF ALPHA- URANIUM

Journal Article · · J. Nuclear Materials
Single crystal values of expansion coefficient and resistivity are given. High resistivity in a particular direction indicates an excess of STA100! directions over random while a low expansion coefficient indicates an excess of STA010! directions. When the two measurements are made in the same direction on the same specimen, an estimate of the tendency to irradiation growth can be obtained. (P.C.H.)
