Technical Report ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2172/4001263· OSTI ID:4001263
Specimens which previously showed promising corrosion resistance in 750 deg F steam sfter 329 hr exposure were reentered in test for an additional 480 hr. Additional tin alloys were included. The compositions Zr--0.5 Nb, Zr-IV, and Zr-- 1 Sb and the alloys Zr--Fe, Zr--Cr, and Zr--Mo appeared the most promising. The corrosion resistance of Zr--Sn alloys was not sufficient to consider the alloy for further development. (M.C.G.)
