Introduction to charm decay analysis in fixed target experiments

In this course, we present an introduction to data analysis in Experimental High Energy Physics, and some concepts and useful tools are discussed. To illustrate, we use the data of E-791, a fixed target experiment recently realized at Fermilab. In particular, we analyze decay modes of {ital D}{sup +} meson with three charged particles in the final state. {copyright} {ital 1996 American Institute of Physics.}
