The Data Table command is a little used, but very powerful spreadsheet feature that allows the user to build a series of ``what-if`` cases that can be plotted quickly. This article gives an example of how the Data Table command can be used to aid in the evaluation of a producing gas well. The example spreadsheet in this article includes the Darcy equation along with the Standing-Katz correlation for Z factor calculations and the Cullender-Smith technique for calculating tubing pressure drop. The Data Table command technique described here will work with any spreadsheet program.
