Scattering of polarized protons from {sup 10}B at 200 MeV

Inelastic cross sections ({sigma}) and analyzing powers (A) from {theta}{sub c.m.} = 8.4{degrees} to 86.7{degrees}, and induced polarizations (P) and spin transfer coefficients (D{sub NN`}) from {theta}{sub c.m.} = 22.3{degrees} to 65.9{degrees}, have been measured with 200 MeV polarized protons from {sup 10}B. Low-lying transitions (E{sub x} < 6.5 MeV) were observed with 30-80 keV resolution using the IUCF K600 magnetic spectrometer and focal plane polarimeter. These transitions proceed through allowed combinations of C0, M1, C2/E2, M3 and possibly higher multiple contributions. The results are compared to DWIA calculations using several forms of the effective NN interaction. For most transitions the spin observables, especially D{sub NN`}, show substantial deviations from theoretical predictions.
