A measurement of the J/{psi} photoproduction cross section with the ZEUS detector at HERA

Journal Article · · Bulletin of the American Physical Society
OSTI ID:374967
HERA, the world`s first ep collider, provides collisions between 30 GeV electrons and 820 GeV protons at the DESY laboratory, Hamburg, Germany. In addition to precision measurement of Deep Inelastic Scattering, HERA proves to be a unique place to study photoproduction cross sections providing p-{gamma} collisions with center of mass energy up to 300 GeV. The cross section for photoproduction of J/{psi} mesons, detected in its leptonic decay modes, in center of mass energy between 40 and 140 GeV and Q{sup 2} < 4 GeV{sup 2} will be presented.
