Quantitative analysis of flow observed in Au+Au collisions at the AGS

Experiment E877 has measured transverse momentum spectra of different particles with respect to the reaction plane in 10.8 A-GeV/c Au-Au collisions at the AGS. This allows to determine for the first time in these collisions, triple differential cross sections. The spectra identify the nucleons as the carrier of the flow that has been reported earlier by this collaboration. The authors will show a quantitative analysis of the amount of ordered motion by the various particle species. The results will be compared to model predictions.
