The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) presents this Explanation of Significant Difference (ESD) to explain a change made to the remedy selected in the September 30, 1992 Record of Decision (ROD) (PB93-963818) for the Cosden Chemical Coatings Corporation Superfund site. This change relates to that portion of the remedy which addresses the treatment of soil and is the result of information obtained and developed subsequent to the 1992 ROD.
