Observation of the decays π΅+ β Ξ£πβ’(2455)++$$\bar{Ξ}^-_c$$ and π΅0 β Ξ£πβ’(2455)0β’$$\bar{Ξ}^0_π$$
We report the first observation of the two-body baryonic decays π΅+ β Ξ£πβ’(2455)++$$\bar{Ξ}^-_c$$ and π΅0 β Ξ£πβ’(2455)0β’$$\bar{Ξ}^0_π$$ with significances of 7.3β’π and 6.2β’π, respectively, including statistical and systematic uncertainties. The branching fractions are measured to be β¬β‘(π΅+ β Ξ£πβ’(2455)++$$\bar{Ξ}^-_c$$) = (5.74 Β± 1.11 Β± 0.4β’2$$^{+2.47}_{β1.53}$$) Γ10β4 and β¬β‘(π΅0 β Ξ£πβ’(2455)0β’$$\bar{Ξ}^0_π$$) = (4.83 Β± 1.12 Β± 0.3β’7$$^{+0.72}_{β0.60}$$) Γ10β4. The first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively, while the third ones arise from the absolute branching fractions of $$\bar{Ξ}^-_c$$ or $$\bar{Ξ}^0_π$$ decays. The data samples used for this analysis have integrated luminosities of 711 fbβ1 and 365 fbβ1, and were collected at the Οβ‘(4β’π) resonance by the Belle and Belle II detectors operating at the KEKB and SuperKEKB asymmetric-energy π+β’πβ colliders, respectively.
