Phyllosphere exudates select for distinct microbiome members in sorghum epicuticular wax and aerial root mucilage. We investigated the microbial communities associated with field-grown energy sorghum epicuticular wax and aerial root mucilage. Sequence data includes 16S rRNA amplicons and ITS amplicons.
