A series of slide presents `Real Time Pricing` as responsive pricing for retail competition which will likely increase over the next few years. Deregulation started with the Energy Policy Act of 1992 which granted open transmission access and gave states right to allow retail wheeling of power. Customers will demand low cost and quality service. The company missions and goals, competition, existing customers and cost to serve should be clearly understood. Cost of service considerations, rate structure objectives, and rate options are included. A computerized economy power purchasing system is also discussed.
