It is shown that the domain of effective long-range interaction exists near the excitation threshold of the pair complex. The existence of coupling-strength resonances and resonances generated by the long-range interaction is confirmed by solving numerically the Faddeev equations. The equidistance of the long-range interaction resonances on the logarithmic scale is described well using the -{gamma}/2m{rho}{sup 2} potential with {gamma} {approx_equal} 1.26. 10 refs., 3 figs., 2 tabs.
