Title: Determining the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa unitarity triangle from {ital B} decays to charged pions and kaons

Decay rates of {ital B}{sup 0}({ital t}){r_arrow}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup {minus}}, {ital B}{sup 0}{r_arrow}{pi}{sup {minus}}{ital K}{sup +}, {ital B}{sup +}{r_arrow}{pi}{sup +}{ital K}{sup 0} ({ital K}{sub {ital S}}{r_arrow}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup {minus}}) and of charge-conjugate processes are studied within flavor SU(3) symmetry and first-order SU(3) breaking. We show that these measurements can determine with a reasonable accuracy the two angles {alpha} and {gamma} of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa unitarity triangle. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
