Kinetic Alfv{acute e}n waves in three-component dusty plasmas are investigated. A dispersion relation for a low-frequency Alfv{acute e}n wave in a dusty plasma is obtained. A damped (or growth) model of a kinetic Alfv{acute e}n wave having velocity {ital v}{sub {ital A}}={ital B}{sub 0}/{radical}{ital m}{sub {ital dn}}{sub {ital d}0}{ital u}{sub 0} dominated by the dust particles collective dynamics is shown to exist in a dusty plasma. The damping effect is provided by the dust charge fluctuation dynamics. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
