Refractive index, main dispersion, and density of boron oxide in silicate glasses containing divalent element oxides

From an analysis of published data on the refractive index, main dispersion, and density of binary borate and ternary borosilicate glasses containing divalent element oxides, the proportion of boron oxide present in such glasses as [BO{sub 4}] tetrahedra has been determined.
