The frequency response of seabed around a suction pile anchor subjected to the mooring force of floating structure was numerically evaluated by taking the seabed characteristics into consideration. The seabed was assumed to be a fluid-saturated poroelastic medium whose behavior is governed by Biot`s theory of wave propagation, and the suction pile anchor was modeled as a rigid and hollow cylinder with upper cover. In addition, the suction force was assumed to act to the closed top inside the suction pile anchor. In this paper, the effect of the skirt length of suction pile anchor on both the displacement response of suction pile anchor and that of seabed was investigated from the view point of the permeability of seabed.
