Quark-flavor mixing and the nucleon strangeness form factors

We have calculated the strangeness form factors of the nucleon G{sub E}{sup s}(Q), G{sub M}{sup s}(Q) and G{sub A}{sup s}(Q) and the electromagnetic form factors G{sub E}{sup N}(Q) as well, by using a relativistic constituent quark model of the nucleon wave function on the light-cone. Octet of Goldstone bosons ({pi}, K, {eta}) are assumed to induce the SU flavor mixing among the light constituent quarks; d-{r_arrow}K+s {r_arrow}d for example, and this mechanism induces the strangeness content in the nucleon. To calculate the meson-loop corrections to the electroweak couplings of constituent quarks, we have employed two models of the quark-meson vertex; (1) composite model of the Goldstone bosons (2) and (3) chiral quark Lagrangian. The loop momenta are regulated in a gauge-invariant way for both models.
