Octet of Goldstone bosons and the electroweak form factors of nucleon

The octet of Goldstone bosons ({pi}, {ital K}, and {eta}) induces the flavor mixing among light constituent quarks. By using a composite ({ital q{bar q}}) model of these mesons, we calculate the strangeness form factors of nonstrange quark, generated by {ital u}({ital d}){r_arrow}{ital s}+{ital K}{r_arrow}{ital u}({ital d}) process, and the anomalous magnetic moment as well. A relativistic quark model in the light-cone dynamics is used to calculate the electroweak form factors of nucleon, {ital G}{sub {ital E},{ital M}}{sup {ital S}}({ital Q}{sup 2}), and {ital G}{sub {ital E},{ital M}}{sup {ital p}({ital n})}({ital Q}{sup 2}). {copyright} {ital 1995} {ital American} {ital Institute} {ital of} {ital Physics}.
