A Compton Polarimeter for CEBAF Hall A

Designed of the CEBAF Compton Polarimeter which will be used in the CEBAF Hall A is described. Some of the Hall A experimetns will use the 4 GeV polarized electron beam. Beam polarization and monitoring with an accuracy close to {delta}{ital P}/{ital P}{ge}4{percent} for beam currents ranging from 100 nA to 100 {mu}A.
