A summary of the 1996 Edition of the GRI Baseline Projection of U.S. Energy Supply and Demand to 2015 is presented in this report. The annual Baseline Projection is a major element in the internal planning process leading to the development of GRI`s research, development, and commercialization program. The 1996 projection describes an era of low energy prices and presents an optimistic outlook for gas supply in this low-price world. It shows an expanding role for the gas industry in the nation`s energy system. The report includes information on the availability of complete 1996 projection materials in several different publications and names of contacts for obtaining further information.
