Localization of the human Mxi1 transcription factor gene (MXl1) to chromosome 10q24-q25

MXI1 cDNA subcloned into plasmids was used in PCR of human somatic cell hybrids. DNA from a human genomic clone was tritiated and used to probe chromosome spreads. Fluorescence in situ hybridization localized the probe to chromosme 10q24-q25. 13 refs., 1 fig.
