An experimental study of {ital {bar p}p} annihilations to strange mesons

Several final states of antiproton-proton ({ital {bar p}p}) annihilations in the center-of-mass energy range from 2.04 to 2.43 GeV are under study by the Jetset (PS202) collaboration. The experiment is located in the Low Energy Antiproton Ring (LEAR) at CERN. Preliminary cross sections are presented for the {phi}{phi} and {ital {bar p}p}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup {minus}} final states. Evidence is shown for {ital {bar p}p}{r_arrow}{ital K}{sub {ital s}}{ital K}{sub {ital s}} and all-neutral final states involving {eta}s and {pi}{sup 0}s. Finally, a preliminary upper limit is given for {ital {bar p}p}{r_arrow}4{ital K}{pi}{sup 0} and {phi}{phi}{pi}{sup 0}. {copyright} {ital 1995} {ital American} {ital Institute} {ital of} {ital Physics}.
