The electrical conductivity and oxygen permeability Ln{sub 1{minus}x}Sr{sub x}CoO{sub 3{minus}{delta}} (Ln = Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd; x = 0--0.5) and La{sub 1{minus}x}Sr{sub x}CoO{sub 3{minus}{delta}} (x = 0--1.0) ceramics were measured. The thermal expansion and crystal structure of cobaltites was investigated. It was found that ionic conductivity of cobaltites decreases in the La > Pr > Nd sequence.
