An investigation was conducted on the performance of two different cathodic protection (CP) system designs using zinc ribbon anodes for corrosion control for above ground storage tanks with double bottoms. Results showed that zinc ribbon anode spacing in a chord fashion can be effective to achieve CP according to industry accepted standards.
