The glass transition temperature (T{sub g}) of polymeric binders is one of the most important parameters controlling binder performance during dry pressing. Binder T{sub g} strongly affects the ease of forming and quality of dry pressed ceramic parts. Binder T{sub g} can be easily varied during acrylic binder synthesis to allow fine tuning binder performance. In this paper we compare granule flow, green strength, green density, compaction behavior, springback and microstructure of granule prepared with 3 acrylic binders synthesized to have similar structures, but differing T{sub g}s. Results are found to be in agreement with previous studies which varied T{sub g} via plasticization.
