The glass transition temperature (T{sub g}) of polymeric binders strongly affects ease of forming and mechanical properties of green ceramic parts. The T{sub g} of commercially available binders spans a wide range of temperatures, but the ideal T{sub g} for an application may not be readily available. In this study we demonstrate how blending of polymers with different T{sub g}s can be used to fine tune binder performance in dry pressing and tape casting.
