JGC has successfully completed R&D of Advanced Cement Solidification and High Temperature processes using demonstration pilot plants with full-scale capacity. In 1993, a radioactive waste treatment facility using these technologies was constructed at a typical PWR plant in Japan. It is now being successfully operated.
