The straight-section upgrade project of the Photon Factory created four new short straight sections capable of housing in-vacuum minipole undulators. The first minipole undulator was installed at the 2.5-GeV Photon Factory storage ring in the summer of 2005. The beamline front-end including the graphite filter and Be windows system is described in this paper.
