Three- and four-body structure of S = -2 hypernuclei
- Department of Physics, Nara Women's Univeristy, Nara, 630-8505 (Japan)
Energy levels of the double-{lambda} hypernuclei, {sub {lambda}}{sub {lambda}}{sup 7}He, {sub {lambda}}{sub {lambda}}{sup 7}Li, {sub {lambda}}{sub {lambda}}{sup 8}Li, {sub {lambda}}{sub {lambda}}{sup 9}Li, {sub {lambda}}{sub {lambda}}{sup 9}Be and {sub {lambda}}{sub {lambda}}{sup 10}Be are discussed. Interactions between the constituent particles are determined so as to reproduce reasonably the observed low-energy properties of the {alpha} + x nuclei, x + {lambda}, {alpha} + x + {lambda} and {alpha} + {lambda} + {lambda} systems. With no adjustable parameters for the {alpha} + x + {lambda} + {lambda} system, B{lambda}{lambda} of ground and bound excited states of the double-{lambda} hypernuclei with A = 7-10 are calculated using Gaussian Expansion Method. Furthermore, the four-body caluclation of {sub {lambda}}{sub {lambda}}{sup 4}H and NNN{xi} were peformed. The {lambda}{lambda} - {xi}N coupling was very important in making {sub {lambda}}{sub {lambda}}{sup 4}H bound.
