Design and Construction of a New Multipole Wiggler (MPW no. 05) at the Photon Factory

A new multipole wiggler (MPW no. 05) has been constructed at the 2.5-GeV Photon Factory storage ring. The main purpose of the new wiggler is to supply photons in the hard X-ray region for protein crystallography. MPW no. 05 installed in the PF in summer 2003, and commissioning will start in fall 2003.
