Recent coupled-channels analyses of n-{sup 208}Pb scattering over the energy range 8.5 to 10 MeV have yielded optical-model parameters which provide an excellent fit to elastic differential cross section data and total cross section data over this energy range and to inelastic differential cross sections at 8.5 MeV. The present work is an extension of this study to lower energies. At 8.0 MeV, calculated values are in excellent agreement with {sigma}{sub t} data and elastic {sigma}({theta}) data for {theta} {le} 145{degrees} but in poor agreement with these elastic data for {theta} > 145{degrees}. Preliminary work at 7.0 MeV suggests that this problem may exist at that energy, also. The reason for this poor agreement at back angles is not clear at present. These results and results at lower energies will be discussed.
