Refiners around the world continue their watch as the crude oil slate gets generally heavier -- while the incentive to run it instead of lighter grades fluctuates within a pathetic band of US $2.00 bbl. This issue returns to the subject of light-heavy price differentials for crude oil and products. It appears that even a tiny differential will become more important in the future.
