Materials Data on LaAg2Au by Materials Project
LaAuAg2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LaAuAg2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ag atoms. Both La–Ag bond lengths are 2.90 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ag atoms. Both Au–Ag bond lengths are 2.63 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to one La and one Au atom.
